Two Grants Received by FKIP

FKIP again receive the prestigious grant. First, the Program Grant DIA BERMUTU Batch III Year 2010-2012 (Accreditation Incentive Fund-Better Education through Reformed Management and Universal Teacher Upgrading).
In order to improve the capacity of Education Workforce Education Institutions (LPTK, in order to produce teachers in accordance with the competencies stipulated in Law No. 14 Year 2005 on Teachers and Lecturers, the Directorate General of Higher Education (Directorate General of Higher Education) Ministry of National Education since 2008 offering Accreditation Incentive Fund (DIA), which is part of the Better Education through Reformed Management and Universal Teacher Upgrading (BERRMUTU). BERMUTU DIA is funded loans and grants from abroad. The program is intended to facilitate S-1 Study Program PGSD to obtain accreditation status and improvement of the accreditation status of one or more other Education Studies Program as a partner on the same LPTK. The process of determining the recipient LPTK, DIA conducted competitively to LPTK that meet specified conditions. In this case, partnering with Prodi Prodi PGSD Biology. Total funds received by the second Prodi during the three years is 1.9 Billion.

Second, Grant Lesson Study. Prodi who obtained this grant is to Prodi Prodi Biology and Mathematics Education. Total funds raised during the three years is 560 million.

The program is implemented through a competitive proposal with the target of the expansion program is the Science, State Lesson Study / JPMIPA-FKIP LPTK eligible.
Recipients of this program is LPTK who meet the following criteria:
1. Own Programs / Courses Mathematics Education, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the Science Faculty and FKIP that each accredited.
2. Have a high commitment in improving teacher professionalism and achievement of students, who supported the Statement of Commitment Letter of the Rector.
3. Attach a statement EPSBED for each course last year (when there is an additional Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation of Teacher Education / PEPPG are preferred).
4. Passed the proposal.

Indicators of output from the expansion of Lesson Study grants are as follows.
1. By implementing lesson study in the level of Programs / Study Program and the school is expected to obtain an innovative learning model.
2. With the involvement of a number of lecturers LPTK in lesson study activities are expected to identified problems LPTK learning in schools and alternative solutions based on the use of hands-on activity, mind-on activity, daily life and local materials. It can be a very valuable input for improving the quality of teacher education candidates in LPTK.
3. Antardosen built a learning community, antarmahasiswa, and between students and lecturers very helpful to improve the effectiveness of academic communication in order to improve the quality of teaching in LPTK.
4. The discovery of various learning models fit the demands of the curriculum and learning problems in LPTK / school based on the condition of the student / students and the campus / school-based learning through the use of the device hands-on activity, minds-on activity, daily life and local materials.
5. The discovery of the development model of professionalism of educators.
6. Increased learning ability of students / student in LPTK / schools, especially in high-level cognitive and affective aspects.
7. Increasing fulfillment of learning each student / student.


These grants are expected to have an impact on the following matters.
1. Improving the quality of learning for the student / students in LPTK / school.
2. Increased utilization of instructional media based local conditions (daily life and local materials).
3. Improved quality of learning services for students.
4. Antardosen built a professional community, between faculty and teachers, and antarguru learning culture within the framework of sustainable development.
5. The formation of learning networks antarLPTK to develop professionalism in their respective fields.
