FKIP News — The Interfaith G20 Forum (IF20) and the International Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD) hosted the 2024 Annual Interfaith G20 and PaRD Forum on Religion and Sustainable Development. This forum serves as a vital platform to discuss key topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reforms in global governance. In this context, the Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Prof. Dr. Trisakti Handayani, MM, received a special invitation to participate in this international forum held in Brasília, Brazil, from August 19 to 22, 2024.

The forum draws inspiration from the G20 Brazil theme: “Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet,” which aligns with the priorities of the 19th G20 Summit scheduled for November 2024 in Rio de Janeiro.
One of the forum's highlights is the opportunity for participants to contribute to drafting statements from religious leaders to be presented at the planned G20 Social Event. This provides a valuable platform for Prof. Dr. Trisakti Handayani to share insights and perspectives from FKIP UMM in a global context, as well as to learn about best practices from around the world.
In a brief interview, Prof. Dr. Trisakti Handayani expressed her honor and gratitude for the invitation. “I feel deeply honored and grateful for the opportunity to participate in this significant forum.
